 Pintail Duck

This pintail duck was fun to create.  Amanda borrowed a taxidermist duck to use as source material.  She placed the duck in front of a dramatic dark background and played with various lighting effects until she found the one she wanted for this colored pencil design, now taught on DVD.

The design was chosen to be taught by Amanda at a convention in New England in the autumn of 2009, and filled a classroom with adult students.  They enjoyed the class and were thrilled with their results.

Amanda has taught her Pintail Duck design at national workshops in several U. S. locations in 2009. 

Now, she is filming the instruction so our many students around the world can enjoy the techniques it offers.
