April 14-15, 2012   Come join Linda as you learn how to paint this delightful scene of a flower and hat merchant.  The blue cart is from Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. We saw a tent filled with hand made hats and decided to put this all together for a nostalgic scene of Colonial America.  Students can decorate the hats in any colors of choice and customize the colors and types of flowers, also.  A nonrefundable $50 deposit will hold your space in class.  Balance is due upon arrival April 14. 

May 5-6, 2012  Learn a fabulous NEW way to paint realistic trees in grisaille using Coulter Tree Guides.  Learn the skills to create your own custom tree guides that will enable you to paint any tree you see in nature!

June 23-24, 2012.  Learn how to paint the softest most beautiful roses you've ever seen!  Students will have the special opportunity to play with colors to create the roses of their dreams.

July 21-22, 2012.  Learn the techniques of painting lions during this fascinating weekend seminar. Students will  learn how to paint fur, eyes, noses, ears and explore appropriate backgrounds for the lion portrait. Artist canvas is included in this seminar. 

August 24, 25, 26, 2012   Several garden scenes will be painted by teacher and students during the weekend to illustrate the techniques and concepts of how to romanticize garden scenes.  Learn to create a special ambiance with colors, values, aerial perspective and your own inspiration!

September 22-23, 2012   This autumn sampler weekend features two beautiful paintings. Learn how to paint pumpkins and autumn leaves with watercolors and gouache on Saturday. Learn how to paint an Autumn Canoe scene with acrylic grisaille and oil color glazes on Sunday. The paint palettes and painting mediums  are provided by the teacher.

October 14-15, 2012.  This is a delightful class that will prepare you for painting portraits and still life. Learn the blending techniques that will make you successful when painting fabrics. Students will explore various kinds of fabrics and learn how they drape and fold, and how the play of light affects textures and colors. A 63 page textbook plus a technique DVD are included in seminar tuition for this very special seminar.  Students will work in acrylics and oils this weekend and learn grisalle and oil oclor glazing as well as alla prima "wet into wet". 

November 3-4, 2012.  Learn how to paint this Old World Santa using Oil Colors on a Verdaccio Canvas.  The hallmarks of this workshop is to teach students how to paint Santa's face, hair, beard and hand, but you'll also learn how to paint soft fur, leather and parchment.
