Gothic Window could easily be called "Wickford Window" because it was painted from Linda Coulter's original photograph of a real gothic window in Rhode Island. Using a little artist license, Linda changed the white siding into an interesting stone building, and she added blue and lavendar hydrangeas just under the window. This scene is painted in acrylic grisaille, followed by transparent color glazes, and finished with a few opaque color accents.
